Tower Hamlets Wheelers NEWS RELEASE 22 October 2002
EMBARGOED 00:01hrs 26/10/02 Ref THW10FWAevent221002
The Tower Hamlets Wheelers (1) would like to inform you of an event this
Saturday 26th October where we are teaming up with the Family Welfare
Association (2) to run a half day session of 'using and playing with your
bike safely for children and parents'.
The event is for FWA clients only and will run from 12:30 - 4pm in Victoria
Park near the lake and cafe (Crown Gate West - at the junction of Old Ford
Road and Grove Road).
This is a good photo opportunity as there will be plenty of children and
parents doing free cycle training, fixing bikes, games and an obstacle
course. There will also be weird and wonderful bikes plus police security
bike marking.
Photographers are very welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
However, please respect the embargo as the event must remain small-scale and
is for FWA clients only!
