A WEEK FOR ALL TO ENJOY CYCLING
- Bike Week in Tower Hamlets 17-25 June 2006 -
National Bike Week is coming up and thanks to local cycle group the Tower Hamlets Wheelers, there are plenty of biking activities in the borough to suit all ages and abilities.
To start the week is a ride to Epping Forest for those that would like to attempt a distance a little further than their usual commute or trip to the shops.
This is followed by the fifth edition of the Cycling Fun Day in Victoria Park. On hand will be everything you need to get cycling - training and route advice, maintenance and security tips, a Dr Bike stand to get your bike tuned, bike handling skills testing and more.
The week continues with easy, fun rides all following off-road and quiet routes, a cyclists' breakfast and culminates with a special Bike Week edition of the Wheelers Bicycle Maintenance Workshop at Limehouse Town Hall.
