Finances
We have about £4600 grant and general money left and the finances breakdown now is:
Bike Buddy scheme has £1500 left
Workshop has £1400 left
Bike Week events etc have £250 left
The remaining £1500 is from T-shirt sales, Wheelers tours trips, rides etc

DA suggested transferring £1000 money from workshop fund to BB scheme - agreed. Also the
accounts are now quite a serious job to handle and we need to lay down a few rules. Agreed
that purchases on behalf of Wheelers need to be fully confirmed with the treasurer/committee
before they take place to ensure that there is a relevant account and budget that they can be
charged against. Also agreed a 3 month time limit for claims was agreed.

*ACTION DA will produce a set of guidelines for claims to accounts money.

KJ has receipts for around £500 and has been instructed to submit them at the earliest!

DA will divert workshop money to bike buddy scheme, which needs more funding.

*ACTION: We need to submit more claims for funding adult cycle training, DA will do this.

Rides: agreed to ask for a donation from participants taking part in outer borough rides to
start a "rides" fund.

---
Bike Buddy Scheme
Still ticking over, nothing extra to report.
*ACTION
DA to send Gary an email re lots of machines for sale.

Jagonari Centre - OP reports they will soon be advertising for a part time employee to
encourage use of the bike scheme.

---
Workshop
Next w/s is on 29th, OP will contact Town hall re any requirements in 'loo' of goodwill.

OP showed two 20mph schemes for south western corner of Isle of Dogs and Narrow Street areas.
In support of these proposals. Despite removal of most of one-way system in Narrow
St/Horseferry Road foresee a problem with cyclists still needing to go across a No Entry line
to continue westbound on LCN route to Cable Street.

Plans for the two-way cycle track at eastern end of Hanbury St were also discussed.
*ACTION

re safety of cycling along Bow Road particularly for children travelling to/from school.
