Treasurer's report
- We apparently have +£1800 compared to a year ago, BUT
- We have around £1000 liability for the May weekend
- We have a large amount of money in the Movers and Shakers fund that we don’t know how we will spend - we may need to refund some of this if LBTH question how it has been used (i.e. we can't spend it on anything other than M&S)
- The workshop is losing money (NB training courses this year, but we are not covering the rental of the Boxing Club)
- We received a number of payments from LBTH (e.g. Bike week) that we cannot rely on next year
- We have generally made a surplus on the weekend trips, and are likely to do so again this year
In general however, no financial concerns at present!

Ride Co-ordinator's report 2011/2012
A good year all round for rides – as demonstrated by Alex's infographic at the end of the calendar year. We had a great variety, from short rides in town to a 70 mile expedition to Brighton where we proved that you don't have to cycle fast to go long distances, you just have to keep going.
It was good to see that we attracted many new people, some of which have now become regulars, as well as seeing many of the old faces. The female/male ratio continues to be pretty even across the programme which is good to see, and we have also acquired a certain following with cyclists from outside our area who like to come to ride with us. We broke all records for numbers on a "normal" ride with the Lee Valley in January 2012 when 37 cyclists braved the cold weather.
A very recent initiative was our first women's ride, arranged in partnership with Tower Hamlets Cycling Club and East End Women's Institute. This was a success and we will organise more of these rides over the summer.
We've also improved the way we plan and organise rides, as we recognise that with the number of people we get on the more popular outings, one leader and a backmarker may not be sufficient. We therefore have a way to recruit helpers for each ride and to distribute information in advance about the rides.
As always many thanks to all the people who have helped on rides in the last year, as leaders, backmarkers, emergency mechanics and "mobile signposts".
Caroline
Many thanks from all for Caroline and Alex's efforts.
Events Co-ordinator report
Relatively quiet year of attending events e.g. Arnold Circus, Sky Ride, St Barnabas Community Fete.
