1. | Cycle Count | |
Alex presented the results of the count at Aldgate gyratory held on 10 January (with thanks to Tom for the diagrams). The main trend shown was that approximately 150 cyclists travelled from Whitechapel Road towards the City between 7.30-9.30am. A full report will be placed in the next newsletter. | Alex
2. | Council Liaison | |
Due to Wheelers inactivity last year formal contact with the borough council had been lost. It was agreed that a single Wheelers contact would be best to receive proposals/schemes from the council. Volunteers would be asked for though it was thought Owen might be in the best position to take this on initially. | Owen
3. | Bike Week | |
Possible events for us to run during Bike Week (15-23 June) were discussed.

5. | Car Free Day | |
Contact should be made with the council asap to find out their intial plans for this years event (22 September). Andy volunteered to follow this up.

6. | AOB | |
Paula Smith, LCC Community Cycling Officer has kindly offered to attend the next meeting on 11 March and give us information about available funds for projects. |
| |
Alix wondered whether members should be asked their opinion on the newsletter (format/contents etc). It was thought this should perhaps be done after a few more have been published. |
| |
Owen to find out if any one would like to join him at the LCC Borough Group Training Day on 27 April | Owen
Owen to ask for feedback on monthly meeting location and times. | Owen
A note of thanks to Gary for getting several donated bikes into working order and then selling them for a donation to the Wheelers funds. |
