A brilliant turn out for a really most excellent ride last night. Really enjoyable tour of the East End and City of London led by David. Mary and I will be retracing many of the places for deeper investigation.

Thanks David for organising, researching, informing and leading us, incident free, on a warmish longest day ride.

Grasshoppers, Lombardy>Lombard>benches>banks to fires, bombs, sieges and golden boys...just to mention a mere smattering....variety is the spice of life....

Particularly impressive were those hardy souls who were up most of the rainy night seeing in the Solstice and then came to the 'breakfast'....and still looked fresh as daisies at the end of the ride last night.
