Easy to Erith

5 November 2011

An easy ride east along the Thames to Erith (and back). We will use quiet roads to reach the Woolwich Free Ferry, then follow the Thames Path all the way to Erith. We follow the same route back to the Ferry, and then depending on how people feel, we head back to Mile End either by a meander along the Greenway or a more direct route using CS3.

Coffee, lunch and tea stops along the way. Easy pace, suitable for all bikes and riders (except those who only like going fast!), options to return by train if you cannot make the whole ride.

There are some barriers and possibly some steps to be negotiated along the way, but don't let this discourage you - assistance will be provided where necessary.

Ride difficulty:
Easy
Ride distance:
25 miles

If you came on this ride and would like to write a report or send us some pictures please mail rides@towerhamletswheelers.org.uk and we will publish them here.
